Time Skidaddling A Poem

I wish I could do
What I planned to
But I am ever at the mercy
Of time constraints.
And to be honest
I do procrastinate.

I get involved in other things
Time runs along
Skidaddling
I wish I had the same pace
With my tasks
I would be finished!
And there would be
No necessity to write
A poem so foolish!
