 A_O_L hahaha that sound still rings in my ears at times.

My work involved computers, so although the computers came before the internet, I can't remember the exact timeline when the two blended. I can remember the IT guys downstairs showing me early on how to log onto the internet through dial up. That would have been more than 25 years ago.

When I first came on this site, back 17 years ago, I was still using A O L. I do remember that. and the ya-hoo messenger service.

Wonder how long before people are going to be reminiscing about Go ogle as a search engine?

 Where I live, i can only get AT&T DSL. Speed is only 6 Mbps download, 4 Mbps up. But in reality, the speed is like 2.5 up, 0.45 down. I know it's better than dial up of 56kbps. But i am sooo unhappy about the service I am getting from ATT. They call this "Highspeed"...really??? Highspeed??? oh my...

 Just wait till StarLink takes over, I expect them to offer entire suite of services.
